A pinch of patience a dash of kindness a spoonful of laughter and a heap of smiles was to be seen during the Cool Dudes cooking programme on Wednesday in St. Dominics. The dirty dishes certainly had a tale to tell! The girls learned all about the importance of including fibre in their diets, which foods have a high fibre content, the Recommended Daily Allowance(RDA) of fibre (25g-30g per day) content and whipped up a dreamy wholesome vegetable soup and wholemeal scones that were just as tasty and delicious as white scones. The wholemeal scones provide us with a better source of fibre compared to white scones and provide us with a slow release of energy that will keep your hunger locked up! A great evening all round, sár obair cailíní! comhghairdeachas!
