Experimenting with Lipids and looking at their properties 

 4th year S&S were busy this afternoon examining the properties of lipids and looking at the difference between an oil based muffin, butter and margarine.  Furthermore we looked at rancidity, emulsions,  melting points, smoke point and flash points and solubility. Matching theory +practical class =success. Maith sibh go lèir
